What is EBM(Extrusion Blow Molding)?
Extrusion blow molding (EBM) is used to produce hollow containers,articles,and component parts. Typically, the resins are thermoplastic resins such as copolyester,polyethylene,polyvinyl chloride,polycarbonate,and so forth. The molding process consists of melting the resin in the extruder, forming the parison through a head and die assembly, then blowing the hollow parison, and quenching the sidewalls inside a mold to the desired shape.
